Prof. Dr. Klaus Boers

Klaus Boers studied law and criminology. He is Professor of Criminology and Director of the Institute of Penal Sciences at the Law Faculty of the University of Münster, and currently President of the Kriminologische Gesellschaft (society of German speaking criminologists). His research areas are life-course criminology, economic crime, theory and model construction, juvenile delinquency, and penal crime control.

Dr. Christina Bentrup

Christina Bentrup studied sociology in Bielefeld. She received her PhD with a thesis on social learning processes and juvenile delinquency. Actually she is working as a senior research associate and CrimoC project coordinator at the department of criminology in Muenster. Her research interests include juvenile delinquency, biosocial criminology, intergenerational research, and quantitative methods of empirical research, especially structural equation modeling.

Dr. Kristina-Maria Kanz

Dr. Kristina-Maria Kanz studied law in Münster and Nijmegen. She was awarded a PhD for her analyses of long-term effects of violent media consumption on juvenile violent delinquency. She is currently working as a lecturer at the department of criminology in Münster. Her research interests include juvenile delinquency, juvenile justice, comparative criminology and media violence research.

Dr. Christian Walburg

Christian Walburg studied law in Münster and Lyon. He received his PhD with a thesis on migration and juvenile delinquency. He is currently working as a lecturer at the department of criminology in Münster. His main research interests include corporate crime, migration and crime, juvenile delinquency and juvenile justice.
